- Yung Jay started listening to hip hop/rap in 4th grade. In 6th, he and all his boyz made playful remixes to popular songz like Durrty Teeth, the remix to Grillz. That continued into 7th when he secretly began writing his own and storing them in a personal folder. He kept writing and improving previous lyrics. The summer between his sophomore year and junior year in high school, he began recording these rhymes. He is now a junior who is in contact with a producer. He enjoys rapping as a hobby and also likes helping other potential artists get opportunities to get signed. After he graduates from high school, he plans to attack the game with full force. He is still pretty quiet about his talents at his school. Only 4 of his best friends know he raps [Personal reasons] . But he is happy to spread it around the world so hit him on myspace, reverbnation, soundclick, datpiff, etc.. He loves to collab with other aspiring artists.
Personality: -Quiet, kept to himself; not the type to attack back w/ words but if someone touches him, be prepared for hell; not a braggart; Multiple Moods -Loves Money, Cars, Girls, Rappin
Why the name?
Yung Jay has had a number of names 1st Name=Johnny Boii 2nd - Kid Crazy aka KC [which ended up being Kid Crunk] 3rd - Kranium 4th - Masta Man dropped the Man and added a 'J' that turned into 5th - The Masta J [pronounced THEE] as of 2009/2010 it became Yung Jay but The Masta J remains as an alter Ego
Yung Jay vs. The Masta J ???
Yung Jay is the more aggressive, mainstream side: rap about money, gurls, cars, success, etc.
The Masta J is the more serious reserved, and mature side: raps about serious matters, issues, inspiration, serious love instead of love as a toy or tool.
